How long have you been a stylist and what are your educational bragging rights?

I have been a stylist for 15 years. I have spent some time at the Unite Academy in Southern California learning different cutting and coloring techniques.

What do you love about your craft?

I love being able to take the fundamentals of hairstyling and tailoring them to suit each unique individual.

What charitable organizations do you feel passionate about?

I will always support any organization helping children or empowering and helping women.

What have you learned from your clients?

I have learned to not only listen but to read between the lines. I think it is important to ask about life style and what their lives look like.

   What do you specialize in?

I specialize in blonding, precision bobs and pixies.

What should clients look for when they are shopping for a stylist?

A client should look for someone they feel really listens to their wants and needs. As well as someone who is continuously working to learn their craft. I believe that learning never ends in cosmetology and I strive to attend classes to learn new techniques.

   What are the upcoming trends?

Trends are always being recycled and I think we are heading towards more blended and healthy styles.

   Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration through other stylist and social media. I love to observe and watch other stylist work. I also love to scroll through social media (TikTok, Instagram, and facebook) to see new techniques I can try and incorporate.

How do you spend your time when you’re not kneeling deep in your craft?

I spend most of my time with my husband and two little boys. We love to go for walks to the park and to take fun adventures. I also do love to stream some good tv to wind down after a long day.

   Why are professional products important?

Professional products are important because it is what we can use to insure that the integrity of our work and your hair will be there.

What is your favorite shade of lipstick?

I'm not so much of a lipstick girl. I am more excited for a good creamy and glossy chapstick.
